Thirteen (First Game!)

For my thirteenth post I thought it was only right to make it about a game about a Thirteen.

Edward Wandrow, Thirteenthborn of House Wandrow is a shepherd in New Zealand who lives alone with a quiet life in the wilderness. Born alongside his multitude of siblings with the ability to emit endothermic radiation that sucks in heat, Edward was born with a variant that can only be described as 'Biowarmth'. Known as one of the most lethargic and absolutely deadpan members of his family, Edward is happy to sleep his days away - even though his kind, the Cletadola, have no need to eat, drink or sleep.

Born with red hair and red eyes from his father, he was never the active sort - but his genes promised different. A one-in-a-million genius, people have been staggered and bewildered to learn that he refused to become the Head Prefect of his Magistrate and decided to reduce himself to a sheep farmer.

Founding the Moore Farm after his late lover died in mysterious circumstances, Edward lives a solitary life, only allowing his family and certain close friends to visit him.

Underneath that lazy, nacroleptic and downtrodden demeanor, however, lies a man who carries two names among the Cletadola;

The Genius Nacroleptic Sociopath;

Wifekiller.

Today, he's receiving his brother Balthazar, the Nineteenthborn and youngest of his family, alongside one of the family guinea pigs, the white-haired red-eyed albino Sheltie Maya.

It's also a very special day for him, the man who sleeps his days away on a farm, his genius seemingly wasted on sheep that fear him.

  Alright, so I'm making a game.  I've been looking for hobbies for a while, but nothing really managed to stick. I even went as far as to try and learn how to edit videos to try and be one of those video editors, but I should have known to stop when it felt less like a hobby and more like work.  I made a couple of pretty okay-ish edited videos, like this one; 25/02/2023 And this one, that I edited for my friend Shiv; 25/11/2020 Mostly I did little comedy and montage bits, but I was editing mostly because I thought I enjoyed it. Blue Cards

Dean M.H.C, 030920, 1761 words, Blue Cards I held onto my mother’s hand, walking through the streets as the world bustled around me. I watched as the life of the world around me stuttered with a sense of splendor. The sky was a cloudless blue, the buildings a bright set of electric candles lining the street, the smells of the shops with the departmental air fresheners or slightly overcooked food was the atmosphere that I had grown up in.
